Connecticut Sporting Clays Championship

All shooters are welcome. Thanks to a new sponsorship by Mueller Chokes the cash prizes previously announced have been increased. They now are: Prizes for CT residents: HOA - $500, RU - $300. Class Payouts for All Entrants: 1st - $375 / 2nd - $250 / 3rd - $200. Juniors paying reduced entry fees not eligible for cash prizes. Lunch is included on both Saturday and Sunday. T-Shirts to the first 100 shooters who register for the Championship. 5 Person Squads. Last day for registration refund (less $20 Clerical fee): August 20, 2026. In addition to the Championship on Sunday, on Saturday you can shoot The Timberdoodle Preliminary, a 100 clays, European Start SYO, with Lewis Class Option, and win prizes in two exciting side games, a Long-Bird competition with payout to High and RU and Sport Skeet (an exciting, fast-paced variation of the traditional Skeet event that blends the familiar format of Skeet with the rules of Sporting Clays--you can see the shooting menu at https://tinyurl.com/msxve66w ). A Sport Skeet round is 25 clays for $35 with $10 returned to Lewis Class prizes. GOLF CARTS: Rentals are through Best Round Golf Car https://www.bestroundgolf.com/ To rent a cart, call Best Round, 203.792.4172, make a reservation before August 25 and pay them. They will deliver a cart to the Club for you. If you are bringing your own cart to the shoot, and have not previously registered it with us for 2026, you must provide us with proof of appropriate liability insurance.
